How To Measure Yourself

To get the most accurate waist size, measure around the narrowest part of your waist. This is typically above the belly button. Kindly see the following steps to know how to measure yourself:

How to find your waist easily:

1. Remove or Rollup clothing.
Remove your shirt or roll it up just below your chest. For accurate measurements avoid any clothing layers that might be constraint to measure exactly.

2. Find your waist.
Your waist is the soft fleshy section between your rib cage (two bony parts). It is the narrowest part of your torso.

3. Take your measurement.

Stand up straight and exhale slowly. Hold the end of the tape measure at your navel and bring it around your waist to the front. The measuring tape should be parallel to the floor without any folds into it. Now you can roll it precisely and mildly tight around your waist area that you find in step 2.

4. Read the tape.

Look at the place on the tape where the zero end meets the other end of the tape measure. The ending point is the measurement of your waist.

5. Double-check your measurement.
We recommend that you repeat the measurement process again. The first waist measurement might not be precise. You can try two more times and once done get the average of all 3 measurements.

The other Measurement:
The secondary measurement that can be taken into account before ordering a waist trainer is that of the hips. The hips should be measured around the widest part of the butt.
